Description:
At 511 PM MDT, Beaver County law enforcement cameras show a large
debris flow moving down North Creek, and additional flows on the
Beaver River. These flows will impact North Creek and the Grove area
in Beaver City imminently! Move away from these channels and to
higher ground now! Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Flash
flooding is already occurring.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through theNorth Creek and the Beaver River. The debris flow
can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Cottonwood Burn Scar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around
the Cottonwood Burn Scar in Beaver County.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Beaver including the Grove area and North Creek.
Instruction:
This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and
ditches in the Cottonwood Burn Scar. Severe debris flows can also be
anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away in
places. If you encounter flood waters...climb to safety.
Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
