Description:
At 750 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain over the south fork of North Creek within the Cottonwood Burn
Scar in Beaver County. Between 0.5 and 0.75 inches of rain have
fallen within central portions of the canyon across multiple
drainages. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar has resulted in debris flow
moving through the south fork of North Creek downstream through
North Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation
and other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Cottonwood Burn Scar in
Beaver County.

Instruction:
This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and
ditches in the Cottonwood Burn Scar in Beaver County. Severe debris
flows can also be anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may
be washed away in places. If you encounter flood waters...climb to
safety.
Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
