Flood Watches for flash flooding continue for this afternoon and evening for a large portion of southern Utah. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of Utah, including the following areas, San Rafael Swell, Capitol Reef National Park and Vicinity, Glen Canyon Recreation Area/Lake Powell and Western Canyonlands. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive rainfall may result in flooding of slot canyons, normally dry washes, slick rock areas, recent burn scars, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
