Description: 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following counties, Bland and Tazewell. * WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 435 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Clinch River, Blue Spring Creek, Bluestone River, Burkes Garden Creek, Beech Fork and Big Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bland... Richlands... Tazewell... Cedar Bluff... Burkes Garden... Ceres...
