At 748 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Ladysmith to near Wyndham to 7 miles southwest of Chesterfield Court House. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Richmond, Ashland, Virginia Union University, University Of Richmond, Randolph Macon College, Chester, Downtown Richmond, Tuckahoe, Bon Air, and Virginia Commonwealth University around 755 PM EDT. Mechanicsville, East Highland Park, and Bellwood around 800 PM EDT. Bowling Green, Milford, Hanover, and Dawn around 805 PM EDT. Highland Springs around 810 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Chilesburg, Beazley, Wayside, Gum Tree, Etna Mills, Montrose, Sandston, Glendale, Pocahontas State Park, and Biscoe.
