Description: 
At 727 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. The heavy rain has ended and little to no additional rain is expected. However, it will take some time for standing water and areas flooding to diminish. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Department of Highways, doppler radar, and public reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Richmond, Chester, Bensley, Bellwood, Chesterfield Court House, Drewrys Bluff, Richmond Heights, Centralia and Varina.
