Description:
At 1125 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has exited
the area, leaving only light rainfall. However, localized flooding
may be occurring as runoff from heavy rain falling since 9 PM
collects in local creeks and rivers, potentially pushing them out of
their banks and onto nearby roadways.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Island Creek, Deepwater Creek, Brannon Branch, Laurel Fork, Big
Reed Island Creek, Mira Fork, Burks Fork and Greasy Creek.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Be
especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
