Description: 
At 703 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported high water crossing Christanna Hwy near the community college. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 1.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Chase City, Kenbridge, Alberta, Dundas, Bacons Fork, Lafoon Corner, Gills Corner, Gary, Oral Oaks, Barrows Store, Danieltown, Meredithville, Wilburn, Prices Mill, Loves Mill, Cochran, Wightman, Dolphin, Warfield and Fairview.
