Southeastern Lunenburg County in south central Virginia...
* Until 900 PM EDT.
* At 747 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported high water crossing
Christanna Hwy near the community college.. Between 3.5 and 4.5
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to
1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Kenbridge, Alberta, Dundas, Gills Corner, Bacons Fork, Danieltown,
Barrows Store, Lafoon Corner, Meredithville, Prices Mill, Cochran,
Oral Oaks, Gary, Dolphin, Wilburn, Loves Mill and Warfield.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
