At 601 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported Flash Flooding occuring near the intersection of Hungary Road and Springfield Road. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Richmond, Ashland, Tuckahoe, Virginia Union University, University Of Richmond, Randolph Macon College, Virginia Commonwealth University, Downtown Richmond, Bon Air, Mechanicsville, Highland Springs, Hanover, Laurel, Glen Allen, Lakeside, Wyndham, East Highland Park, Manakin, Sabot and Greendale.
