* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northern Buchanan County in southwestern Virginia... Central McDowell County in southern West Virginia... Southern Mingo County in southern West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 742 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain had fallen due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in McDowell County and along Guesses Fork in Buchanan County. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding continued, including along the Tug Fork in Mcdowell County, and along Guesses Fork Rd in Hurley in Buchanan County. There have also been a few mudslides reported by Emergency Management. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
