* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northern Buchanan County in southwestern Virginia...
Central McDowell County in southern West Virginia...
Southern Mingo County in southern West Virginia...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 943 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
with very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Between 1.5 and
3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Emergency Management reported
that high waters had receded by as much as six inches, although
some road closures remained.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.

Gary, War, Bradshaw, Iaeger, Jolo, Avondale, Panther, Coalwood,
Stacy, Cucumber, Hurley, Roseann and Elbert.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
