Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and southeast Washington,
including the following counties, in north central Washington,
Franklin. In southeast Washington, Walla Walla.
* WHEN...Until 1000 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 856 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has fallen
within the past hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 0.8
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.1 inches are expected
over the area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Snake River.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
