At 144 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles east of Bridgeport, or 24 miles south of Omak, moving north at 55 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Okanogan and Nilles Corner. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 97 in Washington between mile markers 283 and 289. U.S. Highway 20 in Washington between mile markers 230 and 232.
