...Critical Fire Weather expected Saturday... .Low Relative Humidity and Windy conditions will create critical fire weather conditions across the Yakima Valley the Columbia Basin of Oregon, Eastern Columbia River Gorge, and the Mountains of Central Oregon. The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 691 Lower Columbia Basin of Washington. * TIMING...From Saturday morning through Saturday evening. * WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 12 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
