...DRY, WINDY CONDITIONS SATURDAY... The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening. * Affected Area: Okanogan Valley (Zone 703). * Winds: Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Strongest winds expected across southern portions of Fire Zone 703. * Relative Humidities: 15 to 20 percent. * Impacts: Rapid fire spread is likely with any new or ongoing fires. Winds will start off south to southwest, and become west Saturday evening. Winds will shift to the north Saturday night and remain gusty into Sunday morning.
