For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue. * WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin. * WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM PDT Thursday the stage was 20.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM PDT Thursday was 21.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will remain between 20.6 and 20.8 feet through Thursday night, then will begin falling Friday morning, dropping below flood stage this weekend. - Flood stage is 20.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
