At 1135 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Birch River, or 13 miles northeast of Summersville, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Webster Springs, Addison (Webster Springs), Birch River, Cowen, Widen, Boggs, Little Birch, Muddlety, Centralia, Erbacon, and Upper Glade. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 58 and 59. Route 19 between mile markers 47 and 68.
