Description:
At 254 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Summersville, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Summersville, Camden-On-gauley, Birch River, Craigsville, Camden On
Gauley, Cowen, Widen, Canvas, Muddlety, Upper Glade, Boggs, Calvin,
Drennan, and Erbacon.
This includes Route 19 between mile markers 40 and 61.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
