South central Boone County in central West Virginia... * Until 145 PM EDT. * At 110 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Oceana, or 11 miles northwest of Pineville, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Oceana, Bald Knob, Amherstdale-Robinette, Mallory, Clear Fork, Kopperston, Cyclone, and Coal Mountain.
