Description:
At 426 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Clinton, or 8 miles southeast of Janesville, moving southeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Walworth, Clinton, Sharon, Darien, Tiffany, Allens Grove, Avalon,
Shopiere, and Emerald Grove.
This includes Interstate 43 between mile markers 4 and 14.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central and southeastern Wisconsin.
