Description:
At 940 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Popple River to 6 miles north of Veterans Memorial County Park,
or along a line from 21 miles northeast of Crandon to 15 miles
southwest of Crandon, moving southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Woodlawn, North Otter Creek Natural Area, Crandon and Popple River
around 945 AM CDT. Carter and Goodman around 955 AM CDT.
Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Cavour,
Morgan Lake Campground, Laona, Otter Springs Recreation Area, Newald,
Mole Lake, Long Lake, Fence, Wabeno and Armstrong Creek.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
