* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Hot Springs County in central Wyoming...
* WHEN...Until 815 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 521 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain with rainfall
rates of 4 to 6"/hr due to thunderstorms. Rapid river rises will
cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5
inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
East Fork Jones Creek, Jones Creek and Buffalo Creek.

Mainly rural areas of Southeastern Hot Springs County.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
