At 240 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Happy Valley, or 14 miles west of Cheyenne, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cheyenne, Happy Valley, Willadsen Estates, South Greeley Highway, Fox Farm-College, Warren AFB, South Cheyenne, Winchester Hills, Bison Crossing, and Cheyenne Regional Airport. This includes the following highways... Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 2 and 11. Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 344 and 364.
