Description: 
At 333 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles west of Separation Lake to near Creston Junction to near Wamsutter. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, nickel size hail, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Creston Junction around 340 PM MDT. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 185 and 198.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
