Description: 
At 531 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles north of Whitaker, or 30 miles north of Cheyenne, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Chugwater, Whitaker, and Horse Creek. This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 28 and 60.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for southeastern Wyoming.
