At 605 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of Whitaker, or 27 miles north of Cheyenne, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Chugwater and Slater. This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 32 and 60.
