Description: 
At 250 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northwest of Powder River Rest Area, which is 22 miles east of Buffalo, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Johnson County. This includes Interstate 90 between mile markers 80 and 81, and between mile markers 83 and 95.
