Description: 
At 313 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northwest of Marbleton, which is 7 miles northwest of Big Piney, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Sublette County, including the following locations... Pinedale Ralph Wenz Field, Sublette County Fairgrounds, Boulder Fish Rearing Station, and Big Piney Marbleton Airport.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in Riverton.
