At 614 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles south of Buffalo, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Johnson County, including the following locations... Buffalo Johnson County Airport and Johnson County Fairgrounds. This includes the following highways... Interstate 25 between mile markers 279 and 299. Interstate 90 between mile markers 54 and 84.
