Description:
At 726 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles northeast of Ocean Lake to 13 miles
southeast of Hidden Valley. Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Hidden Valley and Boysen State Park around 730 PM MDT.
Shoshoni around 745 PM MDT.
Instruction:
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
If on or near Boysen Reservoir, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to a safe shelter. Do not be
caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
