At 1100 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles west of Powder River Rest Area, which is 16 miles southeast of Buffalo, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Johnson County. This includes Interstate 90 between mile markers 68 and 95.
