East central Carbon County in south central Wyoming... * Until 800 PM MDT. * At 700 PM MDT, a shower producing strong, gusty winds was located near Fort Steele Historic Site, or 12 miles east of Rawlins, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Public. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Strong winds may be hazardous to light weight and high profile vehicles. * Locations impacted include... Rawlins, Hanna, Sinclair, Elk Mountain, Fort Steele Historic Site, Rawlins Municipal Airport, Dugway Campground, Bow River Campground, Deep Creek Campground, Arlington, and Carbon County Fairgrounds. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 213 and 275.
