Wildfires are unplanned fires. While they may have some benefits for the local ecosystems, they can be devastating for property, people and communities. As such, wildfires near cities and towns pose increased danger.
LaunchPad11 exists to support the entrepreneurs who are bringing innovative solutions and new technologies that address issues of sustainability and resiliency with in cities—meeting the objectives of SDG11 (as well as SDGs 7, 9 and 13). LaunchPad11 drives resilience and sustainability in all cities both large and small, by fostering the development and success of Smart and Resilient City startups through mentorship, government contracting curricula and providing access to new markets through our network of cities domestically and internationally.
