The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has issued an Ozone High Pollution Advisory for Flagstaff for Friday. This means that forecast weather conditions combined with existing ozone levels are expected to result in local maximum 8-hour ozone concentrations that pose a health risk. The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has issued an Air Quality Alert for Ground Level Ozone, from 11 AM this morning to 11 PM EDT this evening. An Air Quality Alert day means that Ground Level Ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed levels that are Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups. Air is unhealthy for sensitive children and adults, such as those with asthma, lung or heart disease, and older adults. Sensitive children and adults should limit prolonged outdoor activity.

The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission and the Regional Air Pollution Control Agency have issued an Air Quality Alert for Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties in the Miami Valley Region, from midnight tonight to midnight EDT Sunday night.
