* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam. * WHERE...Susitna River by Gold Creek Confluence. * WHEN...Until 415 PM AKDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying areas near the Alaska Railroad by the Gold Creek confluence. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 411 PM AKDT, River gage reports indicate rises in water levels from an ice jam on the Susitna River near Gold Creek. Impounding water due to the ice jam will cause rapid river rises upstream. - For Susitna River at Gold Creek: At 3:30pm the stage was 15.6 feet. Flood Stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
