* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is expected. * WHERE...Napaskiak, Oscarville, And Napakiak. * WHEN...Until 700 PM AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Water over roadways and boardwalks possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 730 PM AKDT, The River Watch Team reported an ice jam on Kuskokwim River near Napaskiak, Oscarville, and Napakiak. Impounding water due to the ice jam will cause river rises in these communities. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood - If you live near or along Kuskokwim River stay alert and be prepared to take action.
