AVWSLC * WHAT...The avalanche danger for the warning area is HIGH today and possibly EXTREME tonight. * WHERE...For the mountains of northern and central Utah including the Wasatch Plateau (Skyline)...Wasatch Range...Bear River Rang and the Wellsville Mountains. * WHEN...In effect from 6 AM MST this morning until 6 AM MST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Heavy snow combined with strong wind is creating widespread areas of unstable snow. Both human-triggered and natural avalanches are likely.
Instruction: 
Avoid all avalanche terrain. Stay off of and out from under slopes steeper than 30 degrees. Carry and know how to use avalanche rescue equipment. Find safer riding conditions on slopes less than 30 degrees with no overhead hazard. Backcountry travelers should consult www.utahavalanchecenter.org or call 1-888-999-4019 for more detailed information. This Warning does not apply to ski areas where avalanche hazard reduction measures are performed.
