Falling snow combined with strong north winds gusting up to 60 mph is resulting in blizzard conditions with visibility down to 1/4 mile. * WHERE...Central Brooks Range. * WHEN...Until 9 PM AKST this evening. * IMPACTS...Extremely dangerous travel conditions and dangerously cold wind chills as low as 40 below zero causing frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Blowing snow is resulting in large snow drifts. Alaska DOT has reported multiple tractor trailers stuck along the Dalton Highway at Atigun Pass.
