Description:
* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Total snow accumulations up to one
inch. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph. Wind chills as low as 55
below zero.
* WHERE...Eastern Beaufort Sea Coast.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible.
Significant blowing and drifting snow will result in whiteout
conditions at times.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest winds and lowest potential
visibilities are expected Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.
Instruction:
Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle.
