Description: 
* WHAT...Blizzard conditions occurring reducing visibility to 1/4 mile. Winds gusting between 40 and 50 mph with isolated gusts 60 to 70 mph. Wind chill values 10 below to 20 below zero. * WHERE...Southern Alaska Peninsula, including Cold Bay, False Pass, and Sand Point. * WHEN...Until 6 AM AKDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Visibilities reduced to one quarter mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to power lines. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Conditions have improved since this afternoon, but snow showers may continue to periodically reduce visibilities to 1/4 mile throughout the night.

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely.
