Description:
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills of 5 below to 5 above zero expected
with air temperatures falling into the single digits above 0.
* WHERE...Menifee, Powell, Johnson, Magoffin, Morgan, and Wolfe
Counties.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to 10 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...The cold temperatures could result in hypothermia if
precautions are not taken.
Instruction:
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors,
especially those who remain without electricity. Ensure portable
heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside.
