* WHAT...For the Lake Wind Advisory, north winds 15 to 20 with gusts
to 25 knots. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
as low as 19.
* WHERE...Inland Berkeley County.
* WHEN...For the Lake Wind Advisory, until 10 AM EST this morning.
For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 9 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on Lake Moultrie will
create hazardous conditions for small craft. Very cold
temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
Instruction:
Boaters on Lake Moultrie should use extra caution since strong winds
and rough waves can overturn small craft.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
