Description:
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 5 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Sandia and Manzano Mountains including Edgewood, Estancia
Valley, Eastern Lincoln County, and Southwest Chaves County.
* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 9 AM MST Friday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if
precautions are not taken.
Instruction:
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
