Description:
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 15 expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Alabama, northwest
Florida, and southeast Mississippi.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 AM CST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Wind chills below 25 degrees can be hazerdous with long
exposurse to humans and animals. Air temperatures below 30 degrees
will also result in damage to sensitive crops.
Instruction:
Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
