Description:
At 342 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Todd Creek, or
21 miles north of Denver, moving south at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees. Hail may accumulate on roadways
causing hazardous travel.
Locations impacted include...
Brighton, Fort Lupton, Todd Creek and Wattenburg.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Heavy rain is occurring with this storm and may lead to flooding. Do
not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
