Description:
* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
* WHERE...In Minnesota, Crow Wing, Northern Aitkin, Pine, South
Aitkin, North Cass, North Itasca, South Cass, South Itasca,
Carlton and South St. Louis, and Central St. Louis Counties. In
Wisconsin, Burnett, Douglas, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This
includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band, the Lac Courte
Oreilles Reservation, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the
Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake, Big Sandy Lake and, East
Lake areas and the Bois Forte Band, Deer Creek and, Lake Vermilion
areas.
* WHEN...Until noon CST today.
* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
Areas of freezing fog could result in black ice on roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing fog will be possible tonight, which
may lead to slippery spots on roadways if black ice forms.
Instruction:
If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights and fog lights,
and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Black ice on roadways may
be possible in areas of dense fog.
