Cumberland County in central North Carolina...
Sampson County in central North Carolina...
* Until 930 PM EDT Monday.
* At 326 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain bands across the
warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen, with the
highest amounts across southern Sampson County. Additional
rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain bands
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
