Description: 
At 1135 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.Rivers and streams continue to rapidly rise. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms and excessive runoff. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Rapid rises along rivers and streams. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Juncos, Las Piedras, Gurabo, Caguas, Celada, La Fermina, El Mango, Lomas and Pueblito Del Rio.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
