* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Curry County in east central New Mexico...
Central Roosevelt County in east central New Mexico...
Northeastern Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...
* Until 530 AM MDT.
* At 223 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen across eastern Chaves County and western
Roosevelt County. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Bottomless Lakes State Park, Bitter Lake Wildlife Refuge and Oasis
State Park.
